For all intents and purposes the lettering on Parsons' Library (London WC1: Guilford Street) follows the forms of the typeface Gill Sans but is carved in relief from the same brick as the rest of the building. The straightforward letterforms suit the material well and provide a fully-integrated and decorative, if subtle, architectural frieze.
